Who's behind this
Hi, I'm Mike. I've been brewing for 20 years, starting with extract syrup and a cajun cooker and working up to a 10-gallon Electric Brewery rig!
What we do
- **Honest comparisons.** We compare gear side by side and say plainly who each option is for — and who should skip it. If a cheaper product does the job, we'll tell you.
- **Complete price, not sticker price.** A $490 system that needs a $110 pump isn't a $490 system. We add up what you really need to brew — pump, chiller, controller, power requirements — so you can compare apples to apples.
- **Updated every year.** Prices, models, and stock change. Every guide is reviewed at least once a year, and each page shows the date it was last checked.
